Stationery is a vital part of any wedding, and Lianne from Loveli designs bespoke stationery for all kinds of weddings, here we ask her how she got started and why.
How did you end up doing what you do?
As a trained graphic designer I had always created wedding stationery for friends and family but getting married myself was the real catalyst for starting the business. I saw that there was a real gap in the market for a modern wedding stationery brand aimed at style savvy couples, to whom the little details really matter.
What's the best part about your job?
Playing just a small part of the happiest and biggest day of my couples' lives. I love that stationery can really set the tone for a big day and really help get guests excited for the wedding as much as the couple themselves.
What's the most unusual wedding you've worked on?
All the weddings I work on are unique in their own way as I strive to provide a service that is bespoke and truly reflects each couples personality and type of day they want to have. My most unusual request has probably been a boxed save the date in the form of a bespoke invite, along with a miniature Manhattan cocktail making set as the couple were tying the knot in New York.
What's your most popular type of wedding product?
Bespoke wedding invitations are the most popular and also my favourite to work on as no two couples are ever the same. I love taking their ideas and bringing them to life.
What advice would you give couples wanting to order your products?
Book in early if you want bespoke design – I have a limited number of design slots each month for bespoke design and I won’t compromise on the time spent on each couple's big day paper pretties.
I also have a studio collection available to buy online which can be personalised with colour palette and all the printed text.
